Step by Step

The railway bridge stretches before you like a test of courage. The wooden ties are spaced just far enough apart to be challenging, and between them you can see straight down into the gorge below.

“One tie at a time,” you call back to the others. “Don’t look down, don’t think about trains, just focus on the next step.”

Halfway across, Vinny freezes. “I can’t do it,” he whispers. “I’m gonna fall.”

“No, you’re not,” Gary says firmly. “We’re all here with you. Just follow {{player_name}}’s lead.”

Step by careful step, the four of you make your way across. When you finally reach the other side, there’s a moment of pure triumph. You’ve done something that scared you, and you did it together.

“We actually did it,” Vinny says, grinning despite his earlier fear.

“That’s just the beginning,” Tom declares. “We’re real adventurers now.”
