Promises in the Treehouse

“Before we do this,” you say, looking at each of your friends, “we need to promise something. No matter what happens out there, we stick together. We watch out for each other. And we don’t let anything break up our friendship.”

One by one, you each place a hand in the center of your circle. “Friends forever,” Gary says solemnly.

“Through anything,” Vinny adds, his voice stronger than usual.

“No matter what,” Tom declares.

“Friends forever,” you conclude.
