The Banishment Ritual

Drawing upon the knowledge from the ancient tome, you begin the complex banishment ritual. The words are in Latin, painful to pronounce, but as you speak them, the air in the chamber begins to glow with holy light.

Andrew screams as the ritual takes hold, his form becoming translucent. “What are you doing? This power… it’s older than I am!”

The ritual creates a vortex of light that begins pulling all the vampires into it. Unlike destruction, this banishment sends them to a realm where they can never return to harm the living.

As the last vampire disappears into the light, you collapse from exhaustion. But it’s over – truly over. The banishment is permanent and unbreakable.
