The Wisdom of Ages

In the flickering candlelight of the church, you open the ancient tome Father Mitchell gave you. The pages are yellowed with age, written in multiple languages and filled with detailed illustrations of supernatural creatures.

“This book has been passed down through generations of those who fought the darkness,” Father Mitchell explains as he sits beside you. “Each entry is written in the blood of those who encountered these creatures and lived to tell the tale.”

You learn fascinating and terrifying details: vampires cannot enter homes uninvited, they have no reflection, they’re vulnerable to sunlight, garlic, and holy symbols. But most importantly, you discover that killing the head vampire will destroy all those they’ve turned.

“Andrew,” Father Mitchell whispers. “That’s the name of their leader. He’s been terrorizing this town for over thirty years, always looking the same age. If you can destroy him, you can save everyone he’s turned – and prevent him from creating more.”
